Who doesn't know the very famous Findus sticks? Children usually go crazy for them and many mothers often use them to make children appreciate fish and to have something practical to prepare in a short time, in fact my mom keeps a package in the freezer just in case, as an emergency dinner for Elisa. As you know, however, I hate packaged foods, especially those intended for children, so last night I decided to prepare a supply of homemade fish sticks and freeze them so that they are always ready in the freezer. The recipe for making sticks at home is really easy, in a few minutes you will prepare for your children a second dish of healthy and greedy fish at the same time, my Elisa appreciated it very much, but to my amazement I also had the compliments from my husband who ate a stick telling me it was really good, ole! So I greet you and leave you to today's recipe, this morning I am very busy because it is the name day of the puppy and this afternoon is all dedicated to the preparation of her cake, my sister has been working for two days to prepare the decorations, then I will show you ;)
How to make fish sticks
Cut the cod fillet into sticks 7 - 8 centimeters long
Wet the sticks with lemon juice and a drizzle of oil, leave them to flavor in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Prepare three dishes, in one place the beaten egg with a pinch of salt, in another the flour and in the last the breadcrumbs.
Pass the cod fillets first in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs.
Cook the sticks in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil, 4 minutes per side.
Serve accompanying with a lemon wedge.
