The other night I had a culinary black out: I wanted something tasty and good but nothing, the dark! So I relied on various cooking blogs like mine, and here is the result: chicken and ricotta nuggets with a sauce that gives an extra touch to this dish. I don't remember the name of the girl who posted the recipe (which I slightly changed) on the cooking forum, but thank you for the hint: P
How to make chicken and ricotta nuggets
For the sauce:
Coarsely chop the walnuts. Finely chop the chicken breast in a blender.
Arrange the minced chicken breast in a bowl and add the ricotta and chopped walnuts.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Now add the egg, a grated nutmeg, salt, pepper and Parmesan.
The dough should be nice and soft.
Now prepare some elongated meatballs, often wetting your hands to help you in the processing of the mixture.
Roll the nuggets in breadcrumbs and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare the sauce.
Chop the onions in a blender and fry them in 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan.
Add the puree and then the cream.
Season with salt and pepper and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Serve the hot nuggets with a green salad and the sauce in the center, I really liked: P
